Wedding Photography - the Why and not the How

For over ten years we have been shooting weddings around Indiana and the United States.  Many people have asked over the years why we shoot weddings when there is so much competition out there.  Our answer is very simple - it is such a blessing to be able to capture a wedding day for special couples.  There are so many photographers out there who are amazing at imagery and the technicalities of wedding photography; however, we focus on the why of the wedding day.  We are there to capture the raw emotion, the special moments, and the purity of the wedding.  We pride ourselves on being able to document one of the most important days in a couple's lives.

From the first time we get an email or a phone call we want to learn about the couple.  We want to know our couples and people and not as clients.  We have made so many great connections and friends through wedding photography.  Though we have all the equipment, passion, and knowledge to capture weddings we focus on the WHY and not the HOW.  The "how" will fall in place; however, the "why" is always at the forefront of our approach.

When you are looking for a photographer for your wedding day (whether you look at H&R Photography or another company) we urge you to explore the relationship (WHY) just as much as you explore the imagery (HOW) for your wedding day.

As we enter into 2015 we are excited to already have couple from Metamora to Merrillville trusting us with their special day.  If you are interested in exploring whether we are a great fit for your wedding day please don't hesitate to contact us.
